In 2015 we worked with BIDMC on a search for a new Senior VP for Communications and Marketing. There was significant interest and a strong pool of candidates for this position, and we were pleased to help recruit Paul Donovan, who previously served as Senior VP for Public Relations and Strategic Programs at Fidelity Investments and Chief of Staff to Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

In 2013, ECDA was hired to conduct the search for a new CEO of Lamprey Health Care, New Hampshire’s largest community health center, after the retirement of Ann Peters, who had led the organization for 34 years. After an intensive search process, LHC welcomed Gregory White as their new CEO in October 2013. White brings over 20 years of experience with community health centers in NH and MA, most recently as CFO of the Lowell Community Health Center, and has been involved with many non-profit boards.

Nellie Mae Education Foundation

In 2013, we were hired by the CEO of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation to help identify a new Director of Strategic Communications. NMEF is New England’s largest public charity focused solely on education, with a mission to reshape public education across New England to be more equitable and more effective, so every learner graduates from high school prepared for success. In June 2013, Shaun Adamec was recruited to the position. Before joining NMEF, Adamec served as National Vice President of Communications at City Year and as Press Secretary for Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley. Later in 2013, we worked with Shaun in his new role, to conduct the search for a new Communications Officer.

Endowment for Health

In 2012, ECDA worked with the Board of the Endowment for Health (EH), NH’s largest health care foundation, to identify a new leader to succeed their founding President, Dr. James Squires. The Endowment for Health is a conversion foundation, formed in 1999 to address the unmet health needs of the people of New Hampshire. In September 2012, EH welcomed Steven Rowe as its new President. Prior to joining the Endowment, Steven Rowe served as state attorney general and a legislative leader in Maine, where he was a champion of numerous public health initiatives.
